After Breakfast drive from Haridwar to Barkot. Drive from Haridwar to Barkot. During the way vehicle will halt at the Restaurant/Dhaba. En-route visit the famous Kempty waterfall at Mussoorie. Reach Barkot by afternoon, check into the hotel. Evening free for leisure, explore Barkot. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.

After Breakfast drive to Janakichatti-Yamunotri Darshan (05-06 KMs one-way trek). On average, the trek takes around 2-3 hours. Pony and porter are available during the trek (self-paid). Visit the Yamunotri temple. Drive back to Barkot. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After Breakfast drive to Uttarkashi, enjoy the view of majestic mountains andthe river Bhagirathi. Check in at the hotel. Visit the Uttarkashi market in the evening for shopping. If time permits, you can visit Kashi Vishwanath Mandir in Uttarkashi. Return tothe hotel in Uttarkashi. If time permits, you can visit Shiv Gufa. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel.

Uttarkashi – is home to several ashrams and temples. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, the town of Uttarkashi is also situated on the banks of the River Ganga. Generally hot in summer, the temperature ranges from 30-35 degrees Celsius,s but nights are pleasant, Cold in winters.

Vishwanath temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Reconstructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A massive iron trident, symbolic of divine mothers, has been erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganeshji, SakshiGopal, and Markandeya Rishi’s small shrines are also part of the temple complex. Akhand Jyoti as well as Akhand Abhishek, special aarti at morning and evening are offered. As per Skunda Puran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’, the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyug and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.

Shakti temple – Right in front of the Vishwanath temple is the Shakti temple. It has a big ‘Trishul’ of about 6 meters in height and a circumference of 90 cms. at the bottom. Though there are different views about the making of this, the upper part of it seems to be made up of iron, and the lower one is of copper. As per the epic,s this Shakti was thrown on the devils by the Goddess Durga(Shakti), hence it gets its name. Since then, this Shakti has been erected over here.

After Breakfast drive towards Gangotri. Darshan and Pray at the temple, take a holy dip, and collect Maa Ganga water for the family. Move towards Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel. If time permits, we can takea halt at the Harsil village viewpoint.

After Breakfast drive towards Guptkashi. Watch the holy river Mandakini flowing beside our way. Reach Guptkashi / Sonprayag, check in at the hotel. Hear the ancient tales of the Pandavas and Shiva from the locals. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Sonprayag/Guptkashi.

After Breakfast we will visit Shri Kedarnath Temple. We trek for 21 km or hire a pony, porter, or palki here (self-paid). Helicopter service is also available to reach the temple (self-paid). After reaching, perform puja and abhishek of Lord Shiva (Kedarnath Ji). Visit the Bhairav Nath Temple, which has its own importance for the pilgrims visiting here. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Kedarnath Valley.

Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas, after having won over the Kauravas in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and, while fleeing, took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull.

Kedarnath Weather – Due to its high altitude, the weather in Kedarnath remains cold for most of the year. Summer here is cool and pleasant, while winter is severe. During the summer season, the temperature varies around 18°Celsius. Light woolen wear is recommended. Winter season in Kedarnath is severe with mercury falling to as low as 0°Celsius. During this time, the place experiences snowfall as well. Due to the extreme climatic conditions, this time is usually avoided by tourists.

After Breakfast drive early morning, witness the sun rise from Kedarnath Valley. Watch the snow-covered peak. After breakfast, return to Sonprayag /Guptkashi. Take some rest. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

If By Helicopter: Morning After reaching Fata / Sonprayag heli, our car will drop you at the hotel for rest.
If By Trek: Morning trek to Gourikund & then by local jeep to Sonprayag. There is a big parking issue, so the driver will go back other palace if his contact no. in not working. Then you have to wait for your driver.

After Breakfast drive towards Badrinath. En-route watch the lush green mountains and enjoy the valley view. Reach Badrinath by evening. Explore the local Badrinath market. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Badrinath in a hotel.

After Breakfast drive early morning, visit and pray at the Badrinath Temple for Badri Vishal Darshan. Visit Mana village, also known as the First village of India. Visit Bheem pul where saraswati river flows. After visiting Joshimath, drive to Rudraprayag. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Rudraprayag. Dinner & Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.

Rudraprayag Weather – Generally hot in summer, the temperature ranges from 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. Winter: The Days are pleasantly cool, but the nights are cold, temp ranges from 20 deg to 05 deg.
