Holi is a colorful festival celebrated by Hindus in Nepal and other parts of the world. Holi Festival is celebrated by rubbing colored powder on each other’s faces, and the use of colored water to spray on each other is also prevalent. The harbinger of good and balmy spring weather, Holi is celebrated all over Nepal. The Legend behind it is that this festival originated as a celebration of the death of the Demoness Holika. In Kathmandu Valley, Fagu Poornima begins on the first day with the raising of a pole around noon in front of Kumari House, Kathmandu Durbar Square. Holi ( Fagu Purnima) is popular for the revelry that surrounds this festival as people douse each other with water and colors. Foreigners especially tourists readily take part in the merriment and get drenched in colorful water as there are no rituals involved in playing. Holi is a fun and festive occasion that brings people together and spreads joy and happiness. It is also a time to forgive and forget and to celebrate love and friendship. TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Arrival, Transfer to Hotel
Welcome to Nepal! Airport pickup and transfer you to your Hotel. Short briefing about your tour program. If you are arriving late (after 4 PM) then we will have a briefing next morning at 9:00 AM. If any payment is due, then it will be collected during briefing time.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Kathmandu City Sightseeing, Everest Mountain Flight (Optional)

09:00 AM: After breakfast, you will visit for a full day sightseeing of Patan Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swyambhunath Stupa After the sightseeing, you will stay your night in Kathmandu.
10:00 AM: After breakfast, We will walk to the Basantpur ( Kathmandu Durbar Square), Visit Kumari ( Living Goddess), and Celebrate Holi festival with the big mass along with music and dance until mid-afternoon. After that visit old market Ason and Indrachok
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful Sunrise View, Transfer to Pokhara, Visit Manakaman Devi Temple
08:00 AM: After breakfast, proceed with your drive to Pokhara.
Optional Activity: On the way, you can experience the river rafting at Trishuli river Or you can pay your visit famous Manakamana Devi Temple. The cost of cable car ticket to reach the temple isn’t included in our package cost, which is INR 525 for Indian nationals and USD 20 for all other except Indian.

04:30 AM: Early in the morning you will drive to Sarangkot hill to view Sunrise and Annapurna Mountain range. You can see the most beautiful mountains i.e Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu from the closest.
10:00 AM: After breakfast, you will go for half-day local sightseeing to David’s fall, Gupteshw0r Mahadev Cave, Bindabasini Temple, and Phewa Lake. You also can enjoy the boat ride at Phewa Lake in the evening.
Optional Activities in Pokhara: Paragliding, Mountain Flight, Ultra- Light Flight, Bungee Jumping, Zip-flyer ride, and Hot-Air Balloons
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer to Kathmandu, Shopping at Thamel, Visit Casino.
08:00 AM: After your breakfast, proceed with your drive back to Kathmandu. You get plenty of time for shopping around in Thamel.
You will be free until your flight time. We will transfer you to the Kathmandu airport 3 hours before your flight time to board the outbound flight. (30 mins drive).
