The Hot Air Balloon ride is a new adventure activity introduced in Pokhara, Nepal in 2018. It is the one of the best options for both adventure lovers and those looking for a more laid-back experience. The ride is smooth and peaceful, allowing you to take in the sights without any distractions. You will be treated to a bird’s-eye view of the valley and surrounding mountains, with the pilot pointing out landmarks and sharing interesting facts about the region.
The best time to take a hot air balloon ride in Pokhara is from September to May. When the lovely skies and clear weather prevail, views of the valley below include beautifully landscaped terraced fields and traditional Nepalese settlements. You may take in the expansive views of Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Himalchuli, and Fewa Lake, as well as the Annapurna Mountain range. It’s an incredible feeling to float in a basket with nothing between you from the scenery below. The flight lasts between thirty and forty minutes. Additionally, as it depends on the weather, it cannot be done in inclement weather. You will receive a complete refund if you have a ticket and have to cancel the flight because of inclement weather or any other form of technical problem.
