Kailash Manasarovar Yatra by Helicopter 2026 is a spiritual tour package that fulfills your desire to visit Mt. Kailash and the holy Lake Mansarovar. This is an easier and faster way to complete the tour. It is preferable for elders as well as people who are physically weak to move on the difficult terrain of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The helicopter journey covers the distance to Nepalgunj on land rather than to Hilsa by Helicopter and then by a drive to Manasarovar.

Mount Kailash isn’t only a mountain, it is a symbol of belief & faith among four religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism & Bon. The mountain lies near Lake Manasarovar and Lake Rakshastal. It is the source of four major holy rivers in Asia: the Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra, and Karnali are them. People who are unable to perform a holy bath at Lake Manasarovar go into the above rivers with the same beliefs and faith.

Mansarovar is the other holy place that lies north of Mt. Kailash. Mt. Kailash also has its own religious value among some religions. They have their own beliefs and faith in the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra as per their devotional texts.

Tibet, naturally rich and beautiful, is located in the southwest part of China. Potala Durbar, its unique Buddhist culture, rare wildlife, snow-capped mountains, Yarlung Tsangpo River, ancient ruins, places, and monasteries are some major attractions around Tibet. Lhasa is the capital of Tibet.

During the peak tourist season, there are daily flights available between Kathmandu and Lhasa. During the offseason, there are 3 flights available in a week. Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1400m) – Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 02: Pashupatinath Darshan and Fly to Nepalgunj

12:00 PM – Packing and preparation for the trip
02.15 PM – Drive to the Airport for Nepalgunj Flight by domestic air. Transfer to Hotel in Nepalgunj OR drive to Surkhet (2hrs) and stay at Surkhet based on the situation.

After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport, fly to Simikot (50 Min, 16 Seater Aircraft), arrive at Simikot airport, transfer to the hotel, and check in to the hotel. Evening short walk to lord Shiva Temple, back to the hotel.Overnight at Simikot.

After breakfast, we will walk to Simikot airport and take a helicopter to Hilsa. It takes 20 minutes to reach Hilsa. You will see the scenic view of green hills and snow-capped mountains, along with the deep river gorge ofthe River Karnali from the helicopter. After a 30-minute walk from Hilsa, we will reach the immigration office, and we will get the pass to enter Tibet. Our vehicle will be waiting for us in the Tibet side. Aftera nearly 45-minute drive, we will arrive at Taklakot / Purang (4025m). Overnight stay at the hotel in Taklakot.

After breakfast drive to Rakshas Tal (40 km, 1.5 hrs) on the way, you will have to pass 1 checkpoint. After reaching Rakshas Tal you will see Gurla Mandhata Parvat & first view of Mt. Kailash’s south face and Manasarovar Lake, 40 Km drive we reach Manasarovar then start Parikrma of Manasarovar Lake by Vehicle (102 Km,3 Hrs) and Overnight at the Shore of the Lake.

First Day of Outer Kora 12 KM: After breakfast short drive to Darchen, and visit Yama Dwar. This is the starting point of Kora. We will trek to Dirapuk, which is a 12 km trek (7/8 Hrs) crossing the west face of Mt.Kailash. You will visit the North face of Mt.Kailash. Arrive at Diraphuk, and transfer to the Guest house for check-in. overnight at Diraphuk.

Important note: Yatris who are not willing to go for the Mt. Kailash parikrama will return to Darchen from here and will wait for the other group members in their guest house at Darchen. We will arrange their meals and accommodation there only. Kailash is easily visible from that point, and one can do puja from there too.

Second Day of Outer Kora 22 KM: After breakfast, trek to Dolma-La Pass and trek to Zutalphuk(22 Km,9/10 hrs Trek). This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatra since you have to trek up to (5630m. From Decent to Gaurikund & trek to Zutulpuk following the river. Arrive at Zutalphuk and transfer to the Guest house for check-in. overnight at Zutalphuk.

Third Day of Outer Kora 08 KM: After breakfast short trek ( 8 Km,2 Hrs) and reach the point where our coach will be waiting, we will drive to Darchen and meet another member who was waiting, and drive to Hilsa. Border formalities later transfer to the Guest house for check-in. overnight at Hilsa.

After breakfast fly to Simikot by Helicopter (20 Mins), Take a connecting flight to Nepalgunj (50 mins), and Again connecting flight to Kathmandu(1 hrs). Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.
